I tried downloading data from the Open Targets Platform using the “Export” button as a TSV file, but the process has been stuck on “preparing data” for several hours. Not sure if I did anything wrong. The dataset is only about 5,000 rows. Is this too large to download directly, and should I use the API instead? Thanks!

We are looking into this bug and aim to merge a fix with the upcoming Platform release - scheduled in 2 weeks.

Hi Tina,
a follow-up comment to your question I did not mention earlier: querying the API may be a good way to overcome this problem in the meantime, especially with “heavy” queries such as breast cancer.
