How to use clickhouse

Dear,

I try to download the Open targets genetics using clickhouse as recommended, however when I use the bash script genetics-backend/loaders/clickhouse/create_and_load_everything_from_scratch.sh at 19.03.08 · opentargets/genetics-backend · GitHub

I don’t know where the ${filename}" is declared or when I executed the command:
clickhouse-client -m -n < genes.sql
I obtain this error:
bash: genes.sql: The file or folder doesn’t exist

Could someone to explain how to execute the bash script? I need some previous step? I’ve already installed the clickhouse-client

If it is old and doesn’t work, how can I download the data and work with?

Hi @Jordi_Valls and welcome the Open Targets Community! :tada:

We don’t support this way of accessing Open Targets Genetics anymore. If you want to download the data, you can do so via the EMBL-EBI FTP: Index of /pub/databases/opentargets/genetics

You can take a look at the documentation as well, but bear in mind we haven’t updated in two years, while we work to improve the pipelines.
