mRNA tissue specificity is included or not?

I am wondering whether mRNA expression tissue specificity index is included in the platform or not?

Hi Shicheng,

Gene expression levels are kept under target annotation/baseline expression. Currently, this data is not stratified by tissue specificity, we only report the expression levels in a given tissue.

However, on the roadmap there are significant improvements of how the baseline expression is handled and presented on our platform. We are also considering means to capture tissue specificity as well. Thank you for pointing us to this paper, we’ll consider applying it. Unfortunately, at this point I cannot give you a timeline for the completion.

Thank you Daniel for the update. Tissue specificity will be quite useful and also purity of cell-of-tissue adjusted by single-cell reference data will be quite useful for the target evaluation. Hope we can have this feature soon. Shicheng
