Open Targets COVID-19 Target Prioritisation Tool deprecation and archive notice

Hello Open Targets Community!

Just a quick note here that the Open Targets COVID-19 Target Prioritisation Tool will be deprecated in February 2022. Once deprecated, all pipeline and web interface codebases will be moved to our GitHub archive where it will still be accessible for those that want to run their own instance of the tool.

In place of the standalone target prioritisation tool, we recommend that users visit the Open Targets Platform and view the targets associated with COVID-19.

Our COVID-19 associations page allows you to filter the list of associated targets by data source an key target attributes and explore the underlying evidence for the association between COVID-19 and a given target. You can also view relevant target annotation information (e.g. tractability, safety, expression, etc.) along with information about drugs indicated for COVID-19.

If you have any questions or concerns about the deprecation of the tool or how to use the Platform to find updated lists of targets associated with COVID-19, please comment in the thread below!
