OpenTarget Genetics is my go-for database for genetic variants. When searching APOL1 missense variants rs73885319, rs60910145 and rs71785313, I only found the first two in the database. When I searched the genetic variants using the gene name APOL1, only the first was among the associated genetic variants datasheet. Biallelic expression of the G1 (rs73885319 or rs60910145) and/or G2 (rs71785313) variants of APOL1 have well-established role in kidney diseases. It would be great to see all these three variants, as well as a newer protective variant known as p.N264K (https://www.ajkd.org/article/S0272-6386(24)00742-X/abstract) can be included in the database. Many thanks!
