In 2024, the Open Targets team has been working on a major update behind the scenes: from next spring, the Open Targets Platform and Open Targets Genetics will be merged into a single target discovery platform. This new product will provide a deeper integration between the GWAS and functional genomics traditionally in Open Targets Genetics, and the target identification and prioritisation tools available in the Open Targets Platform.
