# Genetics Portal v6.0 now live!

We have just released an update to the [Genetics portal](https://genetics.opentargets.org) — version 6!

**Key highlights for this release include:**

- We have updated to the **final version of GTEx** — version 8 — which integrates additional RNA-sequencing samples from new donors, and uses the latest genome build (GRCh38)
- We’ve integrated **new eQTL data** , and since all of the eQTL Catalogue data have been requantified with a new pipeline, we have also redone all the colocalisations.
- We’ve **updated the data from the GWAS Catalog** ; the Genetics portal now features an additional 2,451 studies.
