# About the Bug reports category

Report bugs for either the Open Targets Platform or Open Targets Genetics (please make sure it is clear which informatics tool you are referring to).

When submitting a bug report, please try to use the following format, to give the team as much information as possible:

> **Describe the bug**  
> A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
> 
> **Observed behaviour**  
> A clear and concise description of what happened.
> 
> **Expected behaviour**  
> A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
> 
> **To Reproduce**  
> Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
> 
> 1. Go to ‘…’
> 2. Click on ‘…’
> 3. Scroll down to ‘…’
> 4. See error
> 
> **Additional context**  
> Add any other context about the problem here.
